YOUR SUPPORT HELPS SOMEONE ON THE MOVE TO FEEL HUMAN AGAIN
No one puts their children on a boat unless the water is safer than the land. And yet boats carrying families and children still arrive on Lesbos almost everyday. They are fleeing war, violence, oppression, and persecution. Traumatized and exhausted after a long and dangerous journey, they are searching for safety and a future. For 10 years, we have been there for people who, after a dangerous crossing and during their stay in the refugee camp, need medical care, psychological support, safety, and a spark of humanity. The need, we experience everyday, is unabated.

Boat Refugee Foundation is there when it matters most
With medical care, attention, and compassion.
This holiday season, give a symbolic first aid kit. A spark of hope and humanity for someone on the move. Together, we make sure no one is forgotten.
“Very often, people come to the clinic with terrible wounds. These are caused during the crossing, or when people try to reach the shore from their boats, cutting themselves on sharp rocks. There are also wounds caused by the combination of gasoline and salt water.”
