The situation in Mavrovouni camp on Lesvos is inhumane and unsafe. About 6,500 people, including many women and children, live in harsh and hopeless conditions. There is a lack of basic facilities such as shelter, sanitation and food.
Kids cannot go to school and there is no access to adequate health care. People are trapped: because of the lockdown, they are only allowed to leave the camp once a week.
We believe in compassion. Where systems become inhumane, we reach out. We offer medical and psychosocial emergency care and stand up for human rights. Join our mission: donate, become a volunteer and take action with us.
